Cloudstreet concludes its successful run

The senior production of Cloudstreet, a play based on the popular Tim Winton novel,
concluded its run on Saturday night. The production was an umitigated success,
with all aspects of the play well received. The performances were all maturely
and thoughtfully executed by a very talented cast. Under the skilled direction of
Head of Drama, Mr. Ray Swann, the sensitive story-telling transported the audience
to another time and place in Australia's history.

Les Miserables: A Smash Hit!

'...I just wanted to extend my congratulations to you and your cast and crew for an amazing show on Thursday night. Your casting with Brendan (amongst others) was spot on. You and your team should be immensely proud of such a fantastic performance.'
- Jeanette Kropp.

'Thank you for such an excellent production. The entire presentation including the (orchestra, acting, singing, lighting and stage management) was professional and extremely effective. We were touched by the story, the sensitive interpretation and astounded by the talent that all these young people possess. We were inspired by the commitment and dedication shown by both staff and students and we were once again reminded how powerful music and drama can be in reflecting the potential of the human spirit.'
- Linda and Richard Frampton.

'...I was amazed at the standard and level of performance by all the cast and behind the scenes members of the cast and I was most impressed. It was an interesting comparison as when Tony & I were in London last month we attended the musical Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre, West End . Reflecting on the 2 performances I have decided there is little to separate the 2 (apart from the obvious - age, experience & an enormous bucketload of money). Sensational performance by all. Congratulations.
